Mosquitoes are small flying bugs that take over our outdoor spaces in large numbers. These biting insects regularly drive people indoors. They are most active when temperatures exceed 50 degrees Fahrenheit and, therefore, the biggest threat in the spring, summer, and fall. The primary food source for females and males is plant nectar. However, female mosquitoes must supplement their diet with blood meals from people and animals.
Female mosquitoes lay their eggs in standing water or areas where flooding is likely to occur. In the right conditions, it only takes seven to ten days for a mosquito to develop from egg to adult. Properties with or near lots of standing water are most likely to experience problems with mosquitoes. Minimizing mosquito activity on your property is critical to your family’s health and safety. As mosquitoes feed, they acquire parasites and disease-causing pathogens that they can then pass on to their next host.
Mosquito Control Control
Tailored Pest Control has been treating for mosquitoes for almost 10 years. We’re mosquito experts and have a comprehensive process for finding, eliminating, and preventing mosquito infestations.
01
Inspection
Our first step in the pest control process is to visit your home to talk with you about what you’ve seen for pest activity around your property and to find out what you want to gain from our services. We’ll then inspect inside and outside your house to pinpoint any infestation, entry points, conducive conditions, and other potential issues. We’ll recommend a treatment plan based on our findings.
02
Treatment
Our treatments are designed to get rid of the pests that are already active in your house, but that’s not our final goal. We also provide the services necessary to protect your house from new pest problems. Depending on the pest control plan you choose for your property, we’ll provide interior and exterior treatments to get and keep your house fully pest-free.
03
Follow-Up
All of our pest-free bundle plans include 12 yearly service visits. We’ll come to your home each month to re-treat it and make sure it is fully protected from pests. If you choose one of our other pest control plans, you may receive bi-monthly services. Each of our plans also includes free re-services between scheduled visits if pests show up unexpectedly.
